Ingredients For Chawal Kheer Recipe Hindi

  • Milk= 2.5 liters (full cream)
  • Sugar = 2 cups (500 grams)
  • Coconut = half cup grated
  • Rice= 200 grams
  • Small cardamom powder = half tsp(½ tbps)
  • Cashew-almonds= half cup chopped

How to Make Rice Kheer – Kheer Recipe Hindi

To make ricekheer, first soak the rice in water for an hour.

For this, keep the milk in a heavy bottomed pan or non-stick pan on the gas to heat.

Keep stirring the milkkept on the gas occasionally so that cream does not come on top ofthe milk .

Cook the milkuntil it boils.

When it starts boiling, reduce the gas flame to medium and keep cooking the milk while stirring for at least 10 minutes.

Cook untilthe milkthickens a bit. This gives the kheer the taste of rabri orhalwamawa. The grains of rice will dissolve.

Add soaked rice in this light donkey milk and at the same time keep stirring the milk continuously with the other hand so that no lumps or lumps come in the milk.

Increase the gas flame and stir the kheer continuously.

When it starts boiling, reduce the gas flame to medium to low and cook the kheer for twenty minutes. Keep stirring the kheer in between.

When the rice is cooked well and the kheer becomes thick, add sugar to it, mix while stirring and also add finely chopped cashews, almonds and coconut to it.

Save some cashews and almonds for garnishing. Add sugar in it and keep cooking it until the sugar melts. Note that you can increase or decrease sugar as per your taste.

Now add small cardamom powder to the kheer and mix while stirring.

Cook the kheer until it boils slightly. Then when it starts boiling, turn off the gas and our Rabri flavored Shahi Kheer Banke is ready.

When the kheer cools down a bit, serve it.

For the final garnishing, use the dry fruits that we had saved and spread them on the surface of the saree, sprinkling some saffron threads on top. Garnished kheer will look very tasty and beautiful.
