Ingredients for Pumpkin Barfi Recipe
- pumpkin one kilo
- Ghee 2 spoons
- One-fourth bowl of sugar (as per taste)
- milk one cup full cream
- coconut shavings half bowl
- for decoration
- silver work
- chopped pistachios
Step by step instruction to make Pumpkin Barfi Recipe
This pumpkin barfi is very easy to make and can be prepared with just simple ingredients.

To make pumpkin barfi, use a heavy base pan. Put two spoons of desi ghee in the pan and spread it well.

Let us add one kilo of pumpkin in it. Keep the gas on simmer and keep stirring the pumpkin. Fry the grated pumpkin in ghee until it releases water properly.

When it becomes a little dry then add one cup of full cream milk in it. And mix well.

When pumpkin and milk mix well, cover it with a lid and put it on gas flame and let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes.

You will see that the milk has turned into khoya.

Now add one-fourth bowl of sugar in it and mix well.
When the sugar is mixed, add half a bowl of coconut shavings to it.

If you want to eat it in the form of halwa, just add dry fruits and it is ready. But since we will shape it into barfi, we will cook it a little more.

Prepare it by putting ghee in a plate or plate.

Transfer the petha barfi batter to a plate greased with ghee.

With the help of a spoon, flatten it into a square form and keep it in the fridge for an hour to set.

Take it out from the fridge and decorate it with silver work.

Now cut it into equal pieces and it will look better in square form.

After this, decorate these barfi pieces with small chopped pistachio pieces.
Tasty and healthy pumpkin barfi is ready.
